No Bake Cookie

1 cube margarine
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla
3 cup quick oats
1/2 cup coconut (optional

Put margarine, sugar, and milk in saucepan. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, cocoa and vanilla. Stir. Add 3 cups quick oats and coconut; blend together. Form into cookies on cookie sheet covered with waxed paper. Cool
(or you can always do like Jess does and just drop them straight onto the faux marble countertop. Which drives her mom insane!)

I can cook. I can cook well. I bake. I make my own bread. I'm not an idiot in the kitchen. However. I CANNOT for the life of me make good no bake cookies. Everytime we end up throwing them out because they are way too dry. Frustrating.

Oh well, Tawnya, I cannot make bread. Try this recipe. Mom also posted one on Amasa and Minnie Reynolds awhile back.

Oh, well. If you can't make bread! (hee!)

I've tried them all. I really just can't do them...

have you tried using just a tad more peanut butter and milk and a tad less cocoa? that seems to work for me.
