How about Thanksgiving side dishes or deserts? I know that with all the new extended families (in-laws) that there are bound to be new things besides mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, fruit salad and stuffing. I always make pies for dessert, but want to do something different this year.

Oooh. That would be good. Is there enough to carry a whole month, though?
We could do soups. I LOVE soups.
OOO, soups. I just made the best tomato soup ever. I will never eat from a can again. Let's do soups.
what if we do the more open-ended Holiday foods for November, then soups for December?
Ok, we could add our Christmas holiday recipes during Nov. as well so that we can take advantage of all the sales and coupons on the ingredients.
Yeah, that's what I was kind of thinking...if I'm going to try something new for December, I need to start thinking about it by Thanksgiving!!
That makes sense and I agree. I will, however, be excited for your tomato soup, Sandra. I love any and all soup.
